This is Theo. He cannot wait to meet you and become a part of your family! His favorite pastimes include walking, getting treats, and most of all, getting a belly rub! He is fully house trained and will quietly sit by the door when he needs to go out.

We have never seen him growl, bite, or play rough, but he will occasionally let out a few nervous barks if someone walks by outside the window or is unfamiliar to him. We are not sure if he has any experience with cats or kids, but given his good behavior with other people, dogs, and puppies he knows, we think he would do very well, but may need a short introduction and getting used to each other period.

He is eager to go on walks, but he is very curious about new smells and is interested in meeting people who pass by so he is not always aware of manners on the leash. He likes to play with the dogs he has met but can lose interest quickly and instead tries to get attention from any people around. He does have a habit of happily jumping up on new people because he gets excited but overall he is very well behaved. He knows how to sit very well but we don’t think he knows any other commands.

He LOVES riding in the car, both in a seat or in the back of the car. When you first get in the car he is quite curious and tries to walk around and find the best seat, but he will quickly lay down and either sleep or watch out the window for the rest of the ride.

He likes to nap in his kennel and will occasionally sleep through the night in it, but usually prioritizes sleeping as close as he can to somebody, hoping to get lots of cuddles. He sometimes gets anxious can be vocal in the kennel when left alone, so he would love a companion who is around often to give him attention!
