Hi! I'm  Salem ! I was found orphaned in a barn with my brother and sisters when I was only a couple weeks old. Thankfully, a nice lady fed us and contacted The Rescue Crew to come rescue us! It was hard for us as first, being so young and having no mommy to feed and clean us. But foster mom introduced us to her doggies, who were more than happy to snuggle us, play with us, and lick us clean. Because of that, all of us are super comfortable around dogs, and actively seek out their attention. I especially love the doggies, and actually prefer to follow them around and play with them over my own siblings! I know some people don't like black cats or kittens, but I can't understand why! I am one of the sweetest little kitties you will ever meet, and I absolutely adore humans! In fact, when I see my favorite human I will cry and cry until she comes and picks me up, and then I will purr as loud as I can while she pets me. I even like little humans (the ones called kids), and will sit nicely on their laps while they pet me. I also really really love the resident dogs. I will follow them around and try to do whatever doggie things they are doing. I even try to fetch tennis balls with them!
