Nadia is a sweet, but nervous, 4-month-old, 4-pound Maine Coon mix kitten on the hunt for the perfect jungle safari to call home.

Nadia has a strong prey instinct and will take time to gain trust in a new home, as her first instinct is to flee. However, once she feels comfortable with her human Nadia loves to snuggle up by the light of the TV glow. She gives a not so subtle hint that she wants a belly rub by flipping onto her back and slithering side to side until her human complies.

Nadia has the sense of adventure of a jungle cat. She will go through the jungle of houseplants with ease, seeming to walk on a high wire as she balances atop chairs and couch cushions before finding the perfect perch in which to survey her surroundings. When Nadia’s eyes lock on a creature outside the glass her eyes get big and her mind goes wild with possibilities. Nadia’s favorite prey is string. This elusive toy remains out of her grasp, but that doesn’t stop her from trying.

Nadia does well with other cats in her pride, or exploring solo. She has a fear instilled by being prey during her first few months on the streets. Nadia is easily spooked and startles easily. As a result, she would not do well with young children or dogs, but could do well with high school age or above.

Nadia is looking for a quiet and calm habitat where she can play, explore, and cuddle from sun up to sun down. If you are interested in meeting Nadia, please connect with her guide (foster) by filling out an adoption application at https://rescuecrew.org/adopt-animal-in-need/#adoptionapplication

The adoption fee covers the cost of the animal's spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, FIV/FeLK testing (for cats) or Heartworm Testing (for dogs), deworming and all core age appropriate vaccinations.  For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org.  You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. Thank you.
