Oakley is a very special boy. His previous owner surrendered him to a shelter because he had a urinary tract infections, but we've helped him get over that and to help ensure UTI's don't return we recommend keeping him on a special urinary diet found at most pet stores. Oakley is a kind and gentle boy.  He's content keeping to himself and curling up in a nice cubby for a nap, but will show joy and happiness when his person wants to show him love and affection. He's the strong silent type, who doesn't ask for or require much, except his special diet.  In return, he would be your true blue friend who's always there for you - all it takes is a kind and gentle head scratch and he's all yours. Given Oakley's calm and demure nature, he'd prefer a more quiet home. Calm and predictable is how he rolls.  Perfect for empty nesters or apartment dwellers, but not the best match for an "always on the go" family with unpredictable toddlers or scary dogs.  Oakley is truly a very precious and endearing soul, just waiting for his human to come along and love him. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organizations, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
