Hi my name is Astra and I am a ninja! I'm freaky fast and come out most at night. I like to spy on the humans from across the room. My foster mom calls me a creep sometimes.I love finding the weird corners of the house to hide in, playing with the other animals in the home, and chowing down on some chicken flavored canned cat food. Ill be honest I'm rather shy. Before I was with my foster mom I spent months in a kennel in a shelter with my babies. We all had ringworm but have been clear since end of December. This experience really spooked me and made me fearfully of humans. Over the last few months with my foster family I have gone from the terrified cat that wouldn't leave the closet to running and playing happily. I still am a bit wary of humans and will run if you try to pet me but what can I say, I have trust issues. My foster mom has provided me lots of space and patience and this seems to do best for me. Every day I grow to love the indoor life even more and am happy to be inside, especially with other pets. I am great with using the litter box and I love to eat at night. I think one day I might find myself in someone's lap if they are willing to give me the time I need to gain trust. I am fully vetted and ready to find my furever home.

All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.  

The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
