Walt is such a sweet boy. He is a little reserved at first, but once he kniws you, which doesn't take long, he is a big, head rubbing, biscuit maing purring machine!

Walt could stand to loose a few lbs, but this poor boy has spent the last 8 months waiting at a shelter to get adopted, only to be passed by for other cats. I don't know why, because he is a gem! When I, his foster mom saw how long he has been waiting, I knew we had to bust him out and help get him find his family! But back to his weight? Well, if all you did for 8 months was eat and sleep, with not much exercise, you may pack a few extra lbs. on too haha!

He is good with other cats, not really a fan of the dogs, but he may adjust with a quiet low key dog.

A quieter home would be best, as fast moving and loud noises tend to make him retreat to safety. But don't let that scare you off, he LOVE"S his people and attention! And a good brushing with some canned food in his diet.

All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
