My rescue name is Tammie, but I go by Middie or Midnight, thanks for checking me out!

Midnight is a loyal little girl who loves her people. She is happiest sitting in her person's lap or smothering their face with snuggles and kisses. She is a small girl at only about 9lb and is a poodle mix of some sort.

Middie is very interested in new people and things that move when outside.  She is learning how to walk on a leash, but a harness is best for her because she hasn't figured out the pacing of walking with people and she gets so excited to see everything!  Because of her attentiveness and interest in everything, she would do best in a home with a fenced yard or other security measures because it appears she might be a runner.

She loves to play and loves toys including kongs and stuffies.  She loves to wrestle with her puppy and is a very good Momma. She will instantly calm down and snuggle anytime someone sits where she can access them.

Midnight can be protective of her people and is a bit leery of new humans. She will bark before deciding if she likes them or not. A home with consistent humans and not much traffic would be best while she learns to trust new people.

She can be protective of her food and high value treats, although it seems it has been mostly with her baby and not humans. This behavior would be best worked on so it doesn't escalate.

Middie is also a bit dog selective. It is hard to judge with her having a baby to protect, but she is a bossy pants and likes to run things when it comes to other dogs. Slow introductions would be best, or a home where she can have her humans all to herself, because she has enough love for everyone.

Midnight doesn't love being contained. While with her baby, she has been kept in an xpen with room to move, but still hates it. She will bark and cry when she is put away for the evening. WIth free roam of the house she seems very content. she is great with her housetraining as long as she is taken out regularly and does not soil her xpen at all but she hasn't learned to give signals to go out and will sneak away to potty or poo if not taken out enough.

This girl is an absolute love who loves nothing more than sitting on laps, and she can't wait to move on from her mothering duties and have some loving all to herself!

Completion of an Adoption Application via our website (www.RescueCrew.org) is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in the adoption process.

All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.

For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well.
