Hi friends!
I’m Nelson, nice to meet you! I am a 4yr old schnauzer guy weighing in at 17lb. I came to The Rescue Crew from a shelter in Oklahoma, and was very matted and dirty. They found me as a stray and there  isn’t a lot known about my past, so let’s talk about my present and future instead!!   I got groomed and I look so handsome now! I’m so happy to be in rescue surrounded by love!  Speaking of love, I love EVERYONE that has hands to pet me with!  I just can’t get enough of your attention. We can be best friends really quickly! I’m great with other dogs, and probably great with cats too. I’m fostered with young kids and dogs and we have a lot of fun!  I’m doing great going potty outside, and I can be crated or not. I’m happy to sleep on a dog bed and snooze through the night.
I’m really an easy going little guy that’s pretty low maintenance. I will need to continue with a grooming schedule because I am a non shed breed, which means I need hair cuts so I never uses up like a matted mess again. That really was no fun at all.

All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
